I'm a PhD candidate in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology studying Space Systems Engineering and Spacecraft Dynamics. I have also been a research assistant in the Astrodynamics, Space Robotics, and Controls Laboratory (ARCLab) since 2021 and a student collaborator in the Advanced Electro-Optical Systems group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory since 2022. My dissertation looks at how enterprise Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems encode complex satellite behaviors, examines the limits of behavior inference under realistic data constraints, and establishes a foundation for representing inferred behavioral constructs as portable, composable knowledge products across diverse SDA systems.
Prior to my graduate studies, I earned concurrent bachelors degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics from the University of Arkansas, specializing in controls, optics, and astronomy. I owe my earliest research experiences to the Superconducting Magnet Division and the Particle Physics Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory, after which my focus shifted from Accelerator Physics to Aerospace Engineering. In my time at MIT, I have completed a masters degree in Astronautics and continued working toward a PhD with my dissertation defense anticipated for the spring of 2027. My academic work has been supported by the National GEM Consortium and the DAF AI Accelerator.
